[0:25] Wormtown Ska is a new show on WCUW (91.3FM) Fridays at midnight. There’s a big ska show coming up August 17 at the Raven.

[5:07] Worcester’s new anti-panhandling plan will be unveiled July 17.

[5:22] Palladium Worries: The Palladium owners have asked the Historical Commission to let them fast-track demolition of the metal palace in response to their taxes going up 276% (about $42,000) this year. There’s a hearing July 26. There’s a petition here.

[8:28] There’s a Food Truck Festival July 14 in Elm Park. One Worcester-based truck, Kona Ice, will be there. Since 2008, when the City Council responded to a couple of restaurant complaints by increasing restrictions on food trucks, there’s been a sharp drop in their presence in the city. Will those City Councilors who voted for the food truck crackdown picket this event?
