Hi Mike,

Thank you for the kind words. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It's extremely difficult to walk away from a reporting job of this caliber. I had many sleepless nights trying to decide whether to stay or go and I will miss all of the high quality people I came in contact with over the years. But the paper is changing and it was time for me to move on. I think you're going to see some more departures from the T&G in the coming months.

I will continue to read this excellent blog for the real news about Worcester - a great community that in so many ways deserves better.
