I spoke with a really great lady from the <a href="http://www.newtontreeconservancy.org/" rel="nofollow">Newton Tree Conservancy</a> last night (after previously telling myself I was going to sound like a total idiot) and I had such a good time and learned quite a bit from her. So -- for those who are nervous or shy but feel like they want to report -- go for it. You have nothing to lose, and you might be pleasantly surprised at how well things turn out. It should be noted that I have no journalistic experience at all (my major was in English, but I preferred studying Old and Middle English to something that would lead to employment...) so ultimately I would prefer someone who has some sort of a clue to coordinate this. I’ve written a little about the things I’d like covered in the virtual assignment desk this week on my site.
