30 people gathered on Worcester Common today for a 3-hour “Occupy Worcester” rally. This was organized independently of tomorrow’s general assembly, also on the Common. What are the chances there are Occupy Worcester events this weekend I don’t even know about?

Weird economy hits home
A Worcester foreclosure story from SA:
Weird economy hits home… yesterday the house where I’ve lived the past 3 years was auctioned off. 12 people showed up for the auction, including the Hampton properties guy who has bought up half the neighborhood in the past year and a half. In the end the bank took the house. I think all the residents will be ok, including the *awesome* former landlord who lived in the apartment upstairs, everyone has some kind of work. But shoo. Mega disruption and I’m sad my rent money won’t anymore be going to support a great community guy I cherish.

(Yes, this occupation would be larger in scale than last week’s 508.)
